Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jedan Code Academy regarding your use of the Services. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to use our Services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you should discontinue your use of the Services.

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case "you" will refer to that entity.

To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any provision of these Terms or if activities occur on your account which, in our sole discretion, would or might cause damage to or impair the Services or infringe or violate any third party rights, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Our Services may allow you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("User Content"). You are responsible for the User Content that you post on or through the Services, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting User Content on or through the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• The User Content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights and license as provided in these Terms.
• The posting of your User Content on or through the Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity.
• The User Content does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content from the Services at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.

Certain aspects of the Services may be provided for a fee. You agree to pay all fees associated with the Services you purchase or use in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you for such Services.

You will be billed using the payment method you provide when you sign up for the paid Services. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the Services you have selected and for any paid feature to which you later subscribe.

All payments are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in our Refund Policy or as required by applicable law. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, and we will charge tax when required to do so.

If your payment cannot be completed for any reason, we may suspend or terminate your access to the paid Services until payment is received.

Refunds for our courses and services are subject to the following conditions:

• Course Enrollment: You may request a full refund within 7 days of enrollment if you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content.
• Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing our Services and our support team cannot resolve them, you may be eligible for a refund.
• Service Cancellation: If we cancel a course or service before it begins, you will receive a full refund.

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@jedancodeacademy.com with your order details and reason for the refund request.

All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet our refund policy criteria.

The Services and their original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Jedan Code Academy and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Ethiopia and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Jedan Code Academy.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose in accordance with these Terms.

Course materials, including but not limited to videos, text, code examples, and exercises, are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services, except as permitted by these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services, or notify us that you wish to delete your account.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Jedan Code Academy and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Neither Jedan Code Academy nor its suppliers and licensors make any warranty that the Services will be error-free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

In no event shall Jedan Code Academy, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services;
• Any content obtained from the Services; and unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
